The relieving managers were excellent and very helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Staff went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. Generous-sized room with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom.

Convenient to where we wanted to go, comfortable, even though I was dubious about being by the Kitchen (room 2). Little or no noise after 10.30pm.

The beds are too firm for our taste, but we sleep in a waterbed at home so they take getting use to!

We had a great experience staying at this hotel. The location was ideal, as it was close to everything we needed. We were attending a soccer tournament and this place was conveniently located near the soccer fields. Additionally, it was within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

The manager and his wife are excellent hosts. They not only managed the motel but provided an excellent evening meal at a reasonable price which was delicious. Much better than than most restaurants or pubs in the area.

The room was clean and tidy upon arrival, and the bed was comfortable enough for a decent night's sleep. The bathroom offered nice hot water, and the towels were fluffy and new. The location was close to some shops and restaurants, and the staff was friendly enough when checking in.

There were more negative aspects to our stay than positive ones. The room was very small and cramped, leaving us feeling claustrophobic and uncomfortable.

Great location - easy access to main highway. Comfortable rooms. Friendly and helpful staff - good food (home cooked). Affordable. Had a more "up market" feel than some Motel accommodation. Will be staying again and will also recomment to others.

We drove to Kingaroy to hike in the Bunya Mountains and to buy Kingaroy peanuts. Best thing about the Ascot Lodge (other than the absolute necessity: free Internet connection): nearness to the Peanut Wagon. 2nd best: the spa tub. Worst: NO BATHROOM DOOR! This should be mentioned in the reservations material so people could make an informed choice and/or the room should be discounted in price.

Staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. The hotel facilities were top-notch, with easy parking and transportation. We were happy with the hotel's location, as it was close to everything we needed. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent.
